TOP FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS


You can just call us at (306) 242-0000 or you can also mail us at dispatch@captain.taxi with the Pickup Address and Phone no. or you can just ask the driver to provide you the slip.


You can make bookings using our mobile app, on our website or contact our At Your Service Centre on (306) 242-0000.


Shortly before the journey is booked to start, we will send you an SMS message with your driver’s details, including their contact number and the make and model of the vehicle. You will then be able to track your driver through the link sent to via SMS.


If you think you have lost an item in one of our vehicles, we will use reasonable efforts locate the item and, if found, securely store the property for 1 month. You can contact us by sending an email to dispatch@captain.taxi and one of our team will be happy to help.


If your driver has been allocated to you for less than five minutes when you cancel the booking, there will be no charge/cancellation fee.


The waiting time totaly depends on the availabilty of the cabs in your area. The minimum waiting time is 5-10 minutes.


You can track your driver on our mobile app or from the link in the SMS message sent to you when your driver is on their way. If you haven’t received this message and want an update on your booking, you can call our At Your Service Centre on (306) 242-0000.


You'll find our cabs lined up at the taxi parking area at the airport. You can grab any of them.

AIRPORT


This is dependent on the size of the vehicle and how many passengers are travelling. Find out more here. If you require further information, please contact our At Your Service Centre on (306) 242-0000 and a member of the team will be happy to assist.


When you provide us with your flight number at the time of booking, we will track the flight landing time and adjust your pickup time accordingly.


Your driver will be at the cab parking at the Saskatoon International Airport. If you can't find the driver you can feel free to call at the dispatch.


There is no waiting charges for the airport. There are only fixed 2$ airport parking fare.


Your driver will be charged a parking fee of 2$ when exiting the airport and as this charge cannot be predetermined, we apply this charge after the booking has been completed.


When you have provided us with the flight number at the time of the booking, we will be aware of this cancellation and therefore will cancel the booking. Should you need to make an alternative booking for a different date or time, you can do so via our website, mobile app or our At Your Service Centre. It is the customer’s responsibility to let us know that their flight is cancelled and no longer require a vehicle. Please cancel your booking via the mobile app, or contact our At Your Service Centre on (306) 242-0000.


We require flight numbers at the time of booking and will track flight arrival times, and where possible we will adjust your driver’s arrival at the airport accordingly to avoid unnecessary waiting times.

CHARGES


Your money will be deducted from your bank account once your trip will be compeleted. In case if the trip gets cancelled or it becomes a no show then the amount will be returned to your bank account automatically.


The drivers will sometimes incur charges linked to parking and in these cases, we pass these charges on to our customers.


Right now there are no charges on the cancellation or any no show. Hope so there will be any policy on it in coming future.

DRIVE WITH US


If you've class 5 driving liscence then you must need 2 years of driving experience in Saskatchewan.


    Customers pay for their journeys in two ways, so there are two simple ways we pay you:
  • Account transactions

    Account customers pay us directly via their accounts. We’ll add this money up and pay it into your bank each week.

  • Non Account transactions

    For cash jobs, the money is paid directly to drivers and for card jobs it is paid into your bank account each week.


Yes. All Captain Taxi drivers are self-employed and responsible for their own tax and national insurance.


Captain Taxi driver jobs are completely flexible. Work the hours that suit you best. There are periods during the week where we are busier and specific incentives are in place to encourage drivers to work. During the week, we are particularly busy during the early morning and evening periods and at weekends we are very busy later in the evening.


You will need to provide us with your driving licence, driving abstract and criminal record with vulnurable sector. You can send these documents on philip@captain.taxi.

DRIVERS


You should have received full details of the vehicle for our driver when you booked. You can wait for the cab or you can call us and we will find them for you.

You can request a driver and we will do our best to allocate them to your booking however this is not always possible.


All passengers are able to suggest a preferred route to the driver and they will do their best to fulfil this request.

EVENTS


Absolutely. Our events management team arrange vehicle services for all types of company events, including: Conferences, summer balls, Christmas parties or any event in Saskatoon.


Any event which requires over 10 cars will be allocated it’s very own Event transportation planner who will be just a phone call or an email away to assist and help you with any travel arrangements. Providing over 50 cars for the Saskatoon Rush Games in the past and not forgetting providing transportation regularly for CN Rail we have never failed to provide adequate and efficient service to all our clients.
